February 15, 2018
Dear friends,
Greetings to you.
I'd like to share a message with you: the message of my Art of Living wellness class, where participants cultivate clarity so as not to be trapped in dramas from old emotional memories and stresses from challenges in everyday living.
I held my first Art of Living wellness class with its dedicated participants on February 11th this year. During the class, we practiced mindful movements, shared dialogue to re-frame our way of thinking by using the ancient wisdom book, Tao Te Ching (Chapters 1, 33, and 79), and meditated. Most participants had a reflective moment with their clarity, mindful conscious state out of the subconscious.
I found Tao Te Ching very fitting for me to have greater clarity in my psyche. Chapter 1 states, "Ever desiring, you will see manifestations; ever desireless, you will see the mystery." Chapter 33 states, "Knowing others takes wisdom; knowing yourself takes insight. Winning others is powerful; winning yourself is truly strong." Chapter 79 states, "After a great conflict, it is inevitable to have resentment. What should we do about it? Never mind the other party, learn from it for your own good."
I have been embarking on my inner journey of freeing my conscious from the subconscious, which I imprinted on my brain while struggling with life during my naive yet ignorant days gone-by. It is good to see myself transforming the subsoil of the conscious, my subconscious, into fertile topsoil of my conscious mind. I am embarking my inner journey of rewriting my life story.
I can see my inner journey of rewriting my life story in Robert Frost's poem, A Semi-Revolution:
I advocate a semi-revolution.
The trouble with a total revolution
Is that it brings the same class up on top.
Executives of skillful execution
Will therefore plan to go halfway and stop.
Yes, revolutions are the only salves,
But they're one thing that should be done by halves.
Yes, the Art of Living is your Semi-Revolution of rewriting your life story by transforming your subconscious into fertile top soil of your conscious mind. This is the subject of my Art of Living wellness class.
I hope to see you in the class.
